Description:
Veteran SCMM members will recognize much of this route from the Walking the Streets of Bakersfield runs of past years. From the Sylmar meet-up we’ll take the 14 out to Palmdale and Lancaster, then pass Williow Springs International Raceway and through the wind farm before arriving at the Tehachapi Loop. Just down the road from the Loop we’ll take a break at the Keene Cafe for a potty stop and drivers meeting. Then it’s on the Lake Isabella via Bealville Rd and Caliente/Bodfish Rd. Lunch on your own in Lake Isabella. The return route will give members a few options depending on how much driving they still have in their stomach.
