Not surprisingly, yet still disappointing, the official word came out today that MINI TAKES THE STATES is postponed until July 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The announcement was made by MINIUSA’s Vice President, MINI of the Americas, Mike Peyton in a video release that was emailed to the MINI community.
“We know this is truly disappointing news to many of you. It certainly is to the entire MINIUSA team and to our partners that worked tirelessly for months to make MINI TAKES THE STATES an amazing adventure for all of you,” said Peyton. “But considering the uncertainty we’re all facing, it’s the right thing to do to protect each other, our family, our neighbors, and our future.”
Peyton said next year’s rally will use the same route that they had planned for this year.
